Coastal Fashion Week 2019 – The Movement

Coastal Fashion Week (CFW) has wrapped up its 2019 Summer Edition series along the Gulf Coast. Mobile, AL was the 2nd stop for the traveling fashion show and I had the opportunity to attend as a front-row VIP guest. The event was held at the unique GulfQuest National Maritime Museum, which sits on the bank of Mobile River. I met up with a Tamarah from My Own Sense Of Fashion and Kayla from With Love, Deni to enjoy a night of fashion and philanthropy.

A little background about CFW…

It is a Christian-based fashion show created and produced by Kimberly Soule. Kimberly is also the creator of Exalte Magazine. (You may remember from my last fashion show blogpost that Exalte partnered with Live Out Loud Charity (LOLC) for the Influence Fashion Experience back in May.)

“Coastal Fashion Week was created to increase awareness of local charities, encourage development in the area of fashion design and modeling, and to enhance the visibility of the Gulf Coast as a center of Southern fashion.”

For Saturday’s show, school supplies and toiletry items were donated and passed along to Queens with Dreams who will give to those in need in the local community.

Some exciting news for CFW: For the very first time, CFW will have a NYFW show in September. This adds a new state to the tour.

A special THANK YOU and shoutout to Coastal Fashion Week for having me! UNTIL NEXT YEAR…XOXO, BRITTNEY
