New Year’s Eve Outfit Ideas

Brittney Wittner

We have a new decade ahead of us and new beginnings await! It’s time to get dolled up and celebrate! I want to help you start the new year off in style and look your best. Whether you’re keeping it casual with friends or attending a cocktail party, I have some affordable NYE outfit ideas for you.

Jeans/Spanx

If you’re planning a night in with friends/family, keep it somewhat casual in your jeans or leather spanx. Add a shiny top, sweater or sequined blazer to liven up your look. Slip on some pumps or flats and you’re good to go!

Dresses & Jumpsuits

Celebrating NYE at a party, business event or church? You can’t go wrong with a dress or jumpsuit. For cocktail attire, dress length should be below the knee. You can get away with knee length depending on the style of the dress.

Skirts

If your skirt sparkles, balance out your look with solids or less flashy pieces and vice versa. Tops look best tucked into a skirt. You can also try a bodysuit or wear crop tops. All skirts look better with heels–wear pumps, heeled sandals or boots. P.S. Midi skirts are cocktail attire appropriate.

Anything Black Or Shiny

Make your closet work for you by getting creative. Go to your closet and pull out anything black and anything metallic/shiny/sequined. Put it together if you can. For an all-black look, wear flashy accessories to dress it up. For your shiny pieces, wear with jeans, black or solid colors.
